I printed this out and put it above our door today because this wife's heart needs to be reminded of this amazing promise every single day that my husband has to leave the house to go to work in a pharmacy... a place where it is now necessary to have a security guard; where only 30 people are allowed in the store at one time; where you cannot enter unless you accept the hand sanitizer pumped by the security guard (or the police will be called, no joke); where the cashiers need to be protected by plexiglass shields; where there are lines taped to the floor to indicate where you can walk and where you need to stand while waiting in line to pay; and where the staff will encounter stressed out, angry, anxious, frustrated, impatient customers who will treat them in ways that no human being should ever treat another.
In all of this, I know that our God is going before Hal as he leaves the house and that He will be with him the entire time. 💕
