Like a groom beckons his bride
Calling her to ever live with him
He is calling, the Lord is calling
His is a love everlasting, wholly perfect and true
Offered to all who will come
To all who long for more
A love that imparts freedom
A grace ever so divine
Chains being broken, walls coming down
In all the everydayness of life, He just wants to be with you... eating, walking, sleeping and waking, rejoicing, mourning, laughing, crying, watching TV, listening to music, doing the dishes, going to work, praying, reading the Bible. He wants to romance you and to dance with you.
He just wants to be with you, because you are worth more than gold to Him, more than riches, more than fame, more than anything of this world. He calls you precious, His love, His bride, the one for which He died. And He is now waiting for you to come, to hunger and to thirst for more than is found in this world, and to see that the more is found in the arms of a holy king. We could search for all eternity long to never find what can be found in just one face-to-face encounter with Him... hope for the hopeless, strength for the weak, love for the lonely, direction for the lost, peace for the distraught, clarity for the confused, healing for the bruised and broken, purity for the stained.
